Project details: Remove rotten subfloor and joists. Install new joists, underlayment, plywood subfloor and engineered hardwood flooring and baseboards.

Subfloor repair

Pier and beam foundations will rot over time from dampness. The rotten floor joists were removed and replaced.

Plywood installation

A vapor retarder was added to the joists to block moisture from getting to the hardwood floors. Followed by the plywood subfloor installation.

Hardwood floor install

After the flooring prep work, we installed the engineered hardwood floors.

Baseboard installation

Now baseboards put in place and the project is complete.
